Picoso - bring spicy everywhere, you weirdo
Picoso is a vessel to carry your favorite hot sauce for eating out by wearing it as a necklace or using it as a keychain. Uh, what?
That necklace doe. |
Okay, don’t get me wrong. This idea is kinda cool/kinda stupid which may make it brilliant. But before I begin to applaud the kinda coolness factor in this product, I need to point out some obvious issues.
Who the heck will remember to refill this thing??
Sure, I bet that bit of sriracha that was contained in your Picoso was an excellent accessory to your Taco Tuesday routine with your boys. But, are you really going to remember to refill that thing?
What happens if you run out?
Picture this. Gary just loaded his Picoso with fiery chipotle sauce from Hot Ones. He places an order at the local pizza joint and ordered some wings too, for good measure He’s rolling the vial between his fingertips as he eagerly waits for the waiter to bring out the pie and fried chicken wing goodness. Finally, the teenage behind the counter swings around and brings out the wings. To Gary’s dismay, the wings have no sauce. His vial only contains one serving - not nearly enough to cover even one chicken wing.
*Internal chaos ensues*
Are we gonna pretend it’s not a little weird to carry around a vial of something, especially around your neck?
I’ve heard of people carrying around relative’s ashes, water from a sacred spring, or a limited edition Coca-Cola. And honestly, all those things are less weird than carrying around a vial of hot sauce.
Sooooo convenient! |
Now, onto the kinda coolness factor.
Despite some glaring issues, this is kinda cool at the same time. I get that it’s kinda weird/extra to be carrying around hot sauce with you all the time but at the same time, think of the conversations you’ll have. And really, having hot sauce at all times is kinda cool.
Say goodbye to the days of asking for extra sauce and the waiter/waitress scoffing at your request. You can now get all sorts of extra saucy with your meals.
Anywho, what do you guys think? Is this idea crappy or cool? Let us know in the comments!
